• Hold a university undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Have 7 to 10 years of experience in occupational health and safety or as a consultant in a related field.
• Have completed successful health and safety and quality assignments, particularly in the areas of management, leadership and behaviours.
• Have strong skills for working as a consultant, be able to act as a trainer and on-the-job coach.
• Be flexible and available to work where assignments require.
• Be able to work in French and English.

More specifically, the person sought must be creative and open to teamwork. The person will first work under the supervision of the publishing department manager and will perform the following duties:

• Create complex Excel spreadsheets and graphics.
• Draft, correct and format various reports in Word, following the organization’s standards.
• Create dynamic, attractive PowerPoint presentations to support the training workshops.
• Edit training workbooks for participants in accordance with the organization’s standards.
• Translate different documents from French to English and from English to French.
• Correct/review different French and English documents.

Depending on the competencies and location of the person sought, they may also be asked to:

• Manage the production and shipping of training materials around the world.
• Manage the translation of training workshops into different languages other than English and French.
• Develop different visual concepts with an eye to making the training and work tools used more dynamic.
• Draft and collaborate on service proposals.
• Ensure that the website, blog and social networks are updated.
• Develop and create advertising campaigns through Mailchimp.
• Develop different promotional documents/tools.
• Assist the organization’s consultants with different specific needs.

People interested in this position must have the following qualifications:

• Good knowledge of advanced features of the Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Good knowledge of advanced Adobe Acrobat features (creating forms)
• Excellent command of spoken and written French
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Attention to detail, creativity and team spirit

Proficiency in the following skills may be considered an asset:

• Adobe Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Premiere
• Web: WordPress, Mailchimp
• Additional spoken or written languages
• Knowledge in the areas of marketing, social media, etc.
